Multiple O'REILLY Meltdowns Tonight

His afternoon radio show was calm, about his reaction to GIBSON's "the Christ" movie. For the record, O'REILLY smugly sez that he himself was "not changed" by it because he is SO grounded in his spirituality, his years of Catholic school, whatever, that it didn't show him what he didn't already know (if not "lived"). He also is full-disclosing (no spin: BRAGGING) that he is "an associate" of GIBSON's, since GIBSON bought his novel for possible future movie-making. He said the movie is incredibly violent. But the main point was that it would "not change" people like him who are SO spiritual already. He's also basking in the association with GIBSON, the way LIMBOsevic name-drops celebrity names of anybody having tabloid troubles to show how names like him are VICTIMIZED, including Shrub's rise in negative numbers and all the investigations of Shrubbites going on.

Shucks. O'REILLY won't be different from how he is, will not be kinder-gentler, more, uh, Christlike.

He also started gloating in the afternoon, carrying it over to the evening t.v. show, over Jesse JACKSON's statement against Gay marriage.

Then on the t.v. show he went ballistic at a Florida state legislator when she dared to stand up to him. Supposedly, Liberal Florida has a law O.K.ing non-disclosure to parents of abortions for minors. The legislator said, "Mr O'REILLY, you asked me on your show for MY opinion" not for agreeing with him. He exploded, "DON'T GIVE ME THAT (no spin: crap) NONSENSE." He later went ballistic at a priest over the sex and million dollar homes-for-Cardinals scandals of the Church.

He managed to put a lid on himself. He's going to give himself a stroke someday. Catch the re-run for fun.
