Does anyone know whether citizens can start a petition or something equivalent in order to impeachor remove a president?

The only procedure the Constitution provides is by the House of Representatives.
Another reason why one party rule is a bad idea.

to motion for impeachment, thats it as far as i know but it isn't gonna happen, we should just wait til Nov unless something major happens and public opinion really turns against him

BUT the 10th Amendment DOES say: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people."

The word was "not without the House of Reps" moving it forward. And we know the Republican controlled House ain't doin' anything of the kind.

Can't we petition the government anyway? 1st Amendment gives that we can petition our grievances, and I think W by himself is a grievance. Can't we do that?
