Law suit acusses (Ashcroft) Justice officials of outing CI agent
Sound familiar? Seems to be a pattern with this administration.

Convertino also accused Justice officials of intentionally divulging the name of one of his confidential terrorism informants (CI) to retaliate against him.
The leak put the informant at grave risk, forced him to flee the United States and "interfered with the ability of the United States to obtain information from the CI about current and future terrorist activities," the suit alleges.

1. WOW!! Why would Justice Dept. want to derail a
terrorism trial? What possible motive?

Because Ashcroft knows that if these trials proceed they will inevitably get into the long, close relationship of the perps to the intelligence community, BFEE, LIHOP, MIHOP and TREASON.

The political motivation is so obvious it makes you wonder how Ashcroft thought he could get away with it. Maybe he doesn't care. Maybe letting the trial go forward was the greater threat.

This is yet another angle of attack on these bastards.

In the '80s Inslaw case a judge named Bason ruled in favor of a lawsuit against the Justice Dept. He was denied readmittance to the bench and a retrial was held and even the puppet judge put in his place was forced, by the overwhelming evidence, to uphold Bason's decision. I wonder if Ashcroft will try to oust Convertino?

We have some incredibly tough, honest people in the courts, Convertino is one of them. This guy is laying it all on the line. A real hero.
