Watching chimp take questions on MSNBC now
first one about marriage

second about job creation

WHERE are the AWOL questions, you CHICKENbleep reporters?????

did they agree beforehand not to ask about it, so he'd have any sort of questions at all?

1. AWOL story has been dropped
like a bad habit by the corporate owned news media..

3. i had it muted
ever watch *him* with no sound? he looks so disinterested and outright bored. like paul o'neill describes him in his book.

disengaged. rather be out shooting squirrels or chopping wood.

5. heh.......that's what I usually do, but I wanted to see if the handmaidens
would axe him about AWOL

MSNBC cut to studio after two questions, which is often the norm w/dignitaries, but I heard other questions being asked, so I don't know if he actually answered any more.

anchors at MSNBC didn't mention anything about AWOL, so I don't know.....doubt if they did, though

just compare this to diplomatic visits under WJC.....remember those?

"Mr. President, what about the CUMstains?"

9. I noticed this, too
And I only caught the segment at the very end. His boredom is so obvious. Surely it's an act. But a bad choice of postures if you ask me. He seems to save his enthusiasm for fund raisers.

11. Me too! His lips are moving but he isn't saying anything.
I would feel that way if he wasn't muted! I save myself from a few moments of anger!

6. He looks like a "stand-in" waiting for the "real president" to show up!
No matter how many times I see him in these photo ops...He still doesn't convince me he's really the president....:D

7. Well, actually, what's left to ask?
The questions, and the BS answers, are out there. Would it do any good to have him give his BS answers one more time? "I did my doody. I got an honorable discharge." "I released all the records." etc. ad vomitum

12. he's NEVER been forced to talk about AWOL, other than MTP
he's been insulated from that

just as the press cowered from him when he refused to answer questions about drug use

he's NEVER been grilled about his PULL service, the questions surrounding that

they need to go AFTER him on that......can't believe they haven't.....have they been warned that they won't take questions any more if that topic is breached?

there are SO many things AWOL could lead to: Bath, BCCI, binLaden, ABORTION, for one little interesting series of interlocking storylines.

I'm amazed he's taking questions at all.

if the submedia had any independence at all, they'd be going after him, now that he's been exposed, and blood clearly as been drawn

10. No questions about AWOL?
I guess I can't blame the reporters because I am sure a couple would have asked a question about it but * probably didn't call on them. The reporters probably knew in advance who would get called. Amazing all those questions last week to his spokesperson and none today?

The press better not let this go away.

13. God, I'd hate the job: close-captioner for W's speeches
or worse, spell-checker and grammar-corrector for the White House web site.
