Ask William Kristol a Question!
hey folks
i'm going to hear him speak here on campus in an hour or so...i'll most likely have a chance to ask a (serious) question, but it'll be a hostile (to DU style thinking) and educated audience- so i can't ask him anything too "CT." ideas?

1. Ask him where all the Iraqi flowers are!!!
My guess is he'll say they are terrorists throwing bombs, not Iraqis who just Looove having us there.

Then ask him if he would consider the American Revolutionary Army as terrorists or freedom fighters and why it would be different to depose King George I of England from America than to depose King George II of America from Iraq.

Or nevermind. You probably will get some better questions.

:-)

2. Ask Him
"How many deaths of innocent people around the world and in this country will it take to complete their global agenda?" And insist upon a hard number.

3. On the Dianne Rehm show he admitted that Enron paid him to tell positive
stories about them, and that he'd do it again because he had another daughter he needed to put through college.

Ask him why we should believe anything he says if he's admitting that his opinion is for sale.

He'll probably say that he gets paid, but not to tell lies.

But I'd follow up with questions like, "why would they pay you to tell the truth -- wouldn't you be expected to do that for free?" And don't let him joke that maybe that's the reason they went bankrupt, because it actually seems like the reason they were able to rip off their investors.

Ask him why he didn't disclose his fiduciary relationship BEFORE he promoted Enron.

Ask him he feels guilty for propping up a company in a way which enabled enron insiders to sell worthless shares to the public for lots of money.

Make a joke that maybe you'll start believeing him when all his kids and grand children finally graduate from college. Tell him he should write a column about that so we'll know when it happens.

6. Oh, and another one
Does the recent Sharon bribery scandal and the Smirk administration's numerous scandals involving war profiteering mean that all neo-conservatives are getting wealthy from wars that they start or just from staight up ordinary business fraud? Follow up: Does he get a piece of the war profiteering loot for whoring for them?

11. here's a tactic
Edited on Wed Feb-18-04 03:34 PM by thebigidea
introduce yourself as a "big fan" of the Project for a New American Century and say: "Now that we have our Pearl Harbor event in 9/11 and the initial steps towards liberation of the Middle East are taken, what are our next objectives for global hegemony? Is Syria the next logical step, or should we bring freedom once and for all to Iran. Our great success in Iraq has opened the door for freedom, and they must embrace it. Who's next, Mister Kristol?"

I wanted to ask him that on CSPAN but didn't get through.

16. Well, since he loves war so much
ask him exactly how far away from the combat he has to be to maintain his love affair with killing people? How close is too close? He seemed very brave this morning in the CSPAN Washington Journal studio. Ask him if ANY of the warmongers have ANY actual combat experience? Or is a prerequisite for being gung-ho/bully-boy that you've never actually had to do any dirty work?

19. you know......there should be individual threads like this for the BFEE
at the ready, for whenever one of the aholes pops up on a TV or radio or internet show.

questions like these for each and every one of the creeps who've done such a good job of turning this country into a staging ground for the new Reich.

that's why I started wearing my dad's Dogtag from WWII, cause it turned out to not have ended.

We lost to the likes of Perle, Krystol, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wohlstetter, Rosen, and others who've taken the reigns of power away from the other branches of government (they've acceded most fecklessly), and engaged on an incipient a Belli Americana not seen since Hitler.
