Remember.... Bush inherited a 200 billion dollar surplus....
and then proceeded to turn it into a half trillion dollar deficit...That's a 700 billion dollar turnaround in only 3 short years.

That should be a major, major talking point by the Dems and it should be something that Moron America can pretty much understand!

It has been three straight years of three to four hundred billion dollar deficits. They add up to well over a Trillion which has increased our Debt to seven trillion dollars. It was slightly over five trillion (and going down) when Clinton left office.

3. True.
The "surplus" was only there because Social Security balanced the books- but we were headed in the right direction under Clinton.

Under Bush, we're being compared by the American Enterprise Institute favorably with, uh... Nigeria...

Even Brazil's got a better managed economy today than ours.
