Bob Dole blasting "liberal" MSNBC while on MSNBC |
|
Messing with the MSNBC girl, while Joe sits next to her laughing and then shaking his head and sighed, then mumbled, "blame the messenger."
Nice job, Bob. Dumby.
They were being kind to him too. Then Done got offensive when asked about Dick Cheney being a liability.

Please say "Halliburton" 3 times.

12. MSNBC is getting watchable again |
|
I think they have a new person running things. Tweety has been hard on Bush about the AWOL thing and even Pat Robinson hasn't been too distasteful.
I hope the other networks see the anti Bush trend and start becoming more objective again. Trying to out fox Fox is a losing proposition. I expect to see Fox becoming a little less of a Bush whore.

7. Back To The Hatchet Man...The Dole I Rememer |
|
There's '76 (what a mean asshole he was then), and then '88...remember how the BFFE rolled him first before Dukakis?
My bets are Gillespie is trying to use the "kindly old man" to soften with the old battle axe. I saw this drug testing facility attack the National Guard on a recent Larry Comatose King (if it's dead or dying, Larry interviews it), trying to do the GOOP lying points with that "kindly" feel to it.
Damn problem is the media's built up this loser (isn't that what OxyRush would call him??) to be hip...so he can walk on the Daily Show or MTV or any set and spin and lie and people will give it a listen.
I'm not fooled one bit. But I'd keep the Big Dog on the leash...the Clinton legacy should speak this election year...not the man. Cheers.

8. I like Bob Dole a lot more now that he's retired. |
|
I still disagree with him on just about everything, but he's pretty damn funny and likeable. When he was in office, he just came off like a mean old bastard.

"I think this dog has quit hunting some time ago" immediately made me think of his Viagra commercials. What little respect I had for him was lost when he shrilled for an erectile dysfunction drug. It's like these guys are so used to the big bucks they'll do anything to keep it rolling in. Did he really need the cash that bad?

I was hoping someone would yell up to her, "Hey, how's that Viagra working out for you and Bob ?" but it never happened.
