In Bush* 's speech today, he said : "to make life a more hopeful place
for Americans and small business owners."
How can you make life a place?
What is wrong with his language? Is it English?

4. well with these things
You actually can put food on your family (food fight), and make the pie higher (upstairs).

Making life a place though..... that's a unique interpretation of English.

12. do what Indiana did
and make pi = 4 by law, in 1897. Of course, Indiana also gave us Dan Quayle.

8. Easy, have your family stand next to Bush* as he.....
.....'makes the pie higher' and they will soon have food on them!

9. Kennedy speech 1963
I read this on another website today. Has Bush's speech writer been reading Kennedy? (Buzz Flash)

""What kind of peace do I mean? What kind of peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war. . . I am talking about genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, the kind that enables men and nations to grow and to hope and to build a better life for their children-not merely peace for Americans but peace for all men and women - not merely peace in our time but peace for all time" -- John F. Kennedy, June, 1963 "

10. those words sure sound alot better
than anything I've heard out of this administration, ever. Wonder where we'd be if this would have been the way of the country the past 40 years.

11. English as a second language.
Never thought Bush destroying the English language was endearing. My three year old grandson can talk in complete sentences.
