More up-is-downism from the rabid right |
|
I was listening to the radio today after lunch and heard yet another egregious example of right-wing "up-is-downism" (to borrow the phrase from Josh Marshall). The host was talking about how recent polls show that terrorism was not high on most voters' list of concerns. Then this learned caller exclaimed:
"These people who say that things like health and jobs are more important than terrorism, more important than their own security...well, you know what that means? They're really giving Bush a compliment! They're saying that Bush has done such a good job fighting terror, that they're not even worried about it any more!"
Yeah, that's it. :eyes:

1. Hey you got to admit they are on their toes |

I think they are quite ingenious in their shifting back and forth. I don't agree with them but I admire their determination. Won't be long until they will be telling us we are experiencing the best economy ever experienced in America.

You know, since Bush has been in office I've not once been attacked by a hawk. Where I live you see them all over the place, but not one has swooped down to peck out my eyes. Thank you, Mr. Bush!
