Suppose you live in a Republican Congressional district, when do you learn who is running for the Democratic nomination in your district?

The very conservative Nick Smith has been the rep here forever. He is retiring and his son is running to replace him. There are a bevy of Repubs running for the seat but his son is the odds on favorite. The Smith dynasty!
In this extremely conservative district (lower mid-Michigan) the Dems have yet to come up with a candidate.
Talk about not having my views represented in Washington!!!!
