Poll question: waylon "We never had a chance"

Original message

I have been told in no uncertain terms that we never had a chance in 04. The debate was yada yada yada but her primary focus was on voter ages. She asserted that democrats must rely on the "young and dumb" in order to find their way into office and with Dean out of the picture, all the young kids will no longer have an interest, if they had any interest to begin with. I thought a poll might be in order. Anyone able to post a poll, please do so. And if you know of a national poll on voter ages from 2000, please send the link.

18-20
21-25
26-30
31-35
etc
etc

2. Just another dumb Bushevik assh*le repeating Dittohead Lies
I have NO patience for these programmed automatons anymore. This woman would undoubtedly make a fine Nazi or Commie, and if she hates our freedom she should get the ^%$! out of this nation!

(they hate it when you use their own tactics against them, and whine and cry like a first-grader)

3. Chinese proverb
Those who say it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it.

Just nod and listen when people like this talk to you. You will learn a lot about what they don't know and sometimes get a chance to educate a little after they are finished blowing hot air.

6. For a party that lost the last presidential election,
The republicans sure are impressive in taking for granted that they have alot of support.

8. Every picture and report on bush* policy protesters is a nice mix of ages

and a very broad demographic representation of America.

My daughter, not so young and definitely not dumb, reports that there were plenty of gray haired protesters giving tips to the young and eager whenever there was a rally in Tucson. Also told me that when a march would conclude at the rally site, there would be scores of older folks who couldn't make the march there waiting to join the chorus of Americans who will not give up this nation to the neocons.

When people in wheel chairs, barely able to move their arms make arrangements to get to an anti-war rally, it may be safe to assume they will manage to get to the polls in November!

And lots of young people in Pima County, AZ are doing more than registering Dem. Many are calling groups and asking how to help and get the vote out.

Young and dumb, my ass. They know they are fighting for their future. And the old among us see that soon we will have nothing to lose. Makes us a dangerous bunch of geezers.

edit: my usual typo things
