Poll question: The Court of Public Opinion; Bush and Iraq
Let's imagine that we are preparing a case to be heard in the Court of Public Opinion in the trial of George W. Bush and Iraq. What charges should we push, in your opinion?

Obviously as we prepare our case we will try to hit on all of President Bush's failings, but what should our lead off charge be? Or to put it another way, what is the overarching Narrative that we expect the American People (or the Jury) to buy into.

Option 1 - We try President Bush for the deaths of Iraqi people and American Troops caused by his unnecessary war.

Option 2 - We try him for lying to the American people in order to push them into war.

Option 3 - We will try him for his incompetence and lack of understanding as to how the intelligence community works (i.e. his administrations efforts to push a certain response.

Option 4 - We will try him as a week president who allowed himself to get pushed around by his advisors.

Option 5 - We will try him as the the friend to Plutocrats; throwing us into war in order to enrich his and his friends pockets.

Option 6 - We will try him for his administration's incompetance in planning the Iraqi War and their lack of preparation for the aftermath.

Once again, it's assumed that we will hit on all of these themes, but which of them should be our lead off batter, so to speak.

Personally I think Options 1, 2, and 5 are tricky to prove to centrists or those who might be leaning towards supporting him. I like 3, but not sure the jury will follow it. I guess I would go with Option 6 as my lead off, but I could be wrong.

2. Hmmmmmm
You think you have a case proving that President Bush commited Pedophiliac sex offenses? Present some evidence, if it's solid we'll lead off with it.

3. Option 2 is easy to prove to anyone with an open mind
Centrists, if presented with the evidence--which is massive--would have no problem realizing Bush* lied at every opportunity to whip the country into a war frenzy.
