3. Not my favorite

I find the repeated "We hold these truths..." to be a little on the pompous side.

As a writer, I don't much care for third person, second person plural and first person plural all in the same piece. It sounds contrived.

I always apprciate Will's writing for his deadly accurate content, but stylistically, this one isn't my favorite.

4. I was going by content of the message and not the style of writing

he is a little longwinded but I liked what he had to say in this one.

5. Here: this is what I liked

The one you've been waiting for has always been here. The one you've been waiting for pressured these candidates to fight the onslaught of the Bush administration. The one you've been waiting for took to the streets before the Iraq invasion, worked for the campaign which most inspired, agitated against the PATRIOT Act, spoke to friend and neighbor and family about what has gone wrong.

This final truth is self-evident. You are the one you've been waiting for. You drive the agenda. You make or break this political season. You are the hero. You've been here the whole time.

Will puts into words what the rest of us feel, but can't express. I am so glad we have him on our side.
