Very cyber-Ghandi, very Zen, kinda hard for Ashcroft to prosecute. Non-violent, we're just reporters, here's my press pass.

First amendment, freedom of speech, whatcha gonna do crybabies - AMEND THE CONSTITUTION and prohibit free speech too?

You know they're hoping we'll show up with guns at this thing - and if we don't maybe Uncle Karl has some agents provocateurs lined up. C'mon people - look at all the planes that have gone down and the public figures assassinated and the mob of angry yuppie thugs flown into to shut down the Florida recount - look that the 9/11 LIHOP theories - they have a REASON for holding their convention in the most volitile, voluble city in the country, and they're HOPING for a fight from the feisty New Yorkers. All they do is fight dirty - and they're praying for violence. What's another 500 Americans killed in the name of PNAC?

The best thing we can do is show up - but not with pathetic candles and posters. Show up with DIGITAL CAMERAS and TAPE RECORDERS. Give a speech across town in one of their "free speech zone" if that's the only place we won't get water-cannoned or tear-gassed down and print that up and zap it around the world next morning in 25 languages.

The protests at Bush's inauguration were the BIGGEST in a quarter of a century in the US. Nary a peep from the corporate media.

This is the year when the biggest history in the history of America will be made - it's make or break. Karl knows it - we better learn it too. If there ever was a time when we need to show the world that the pen is mightier than the sword, that time is now.
