Anti-Bush Vote and the Congress |
|
I've been running across quite a Republican friends who tell me they really can't vote for Bush the next time around. I've been telling them that I agree but to really make a difference they should also reach over and check the block for whatever Democrat they see running for either the House or the Senate.
I honestly think there is a chance that Bush backlash will be great enough to bring the House and Senate back to us in one fell swoop.
Here, in West Virginia, we have one interloper in our delegation, and I can not wait to see her gone. How's it looking in your state?

I think just the fact that we are going to draw huge numbers to the polls could be enough to sweep the congress too. Fingers are crossed. http://www.wgoeshome.com

2. Maybe the senate, but didn't the Texas redistricting gaurantee the house |

for the next generation, so to speak?
I honestly would be happy with the WH and one branch of congress. Both, I would be estatic!

3. People always like there own representatives |
|
People tend to hate Congress but like their own reps and senators.
My district has a bush lapdog and the chance of him being defeated is small. But a Democratic candidate just announced that she is running, so maybe there is hope.
