Connor (Rick PERRY) Has Emergency Appendectomy
He worked late Tuesday night and started feeling sick. Hmm. Wasn't that around the time the rumors got going?

The unrelated 2nd item is one more of those pesky investigations picking up steam among TX Repukes.

Secretary of state undergoes emergency appendectomy

Associated Press

AUSTIN - Secretary of State Geoffrey Connor was released from an Austin hospital on Friday following an emergency appendectomy surgery, a spokeswoman said.

Connor, 40, was recovering at home Friday and planned to return to work Monday, spokeswoman Jennifer Waisath said. There were no complications, she said. ....

Connor worked late Tuesday night to monitor vote tabulations in the special elections for Senate districts 1 and 31. He started feeling sick that night and went to Seton Hospital on Wednesday evening, Waisath said.

Connor was appointed by Gov. Rick Perry in August. He was assistant secretary of state for three years before then. ....

2. Trumad: that's sick and disgusting and really, really funny.
Although I'm thinking perhaps Connor is preggers with Rick's love child. :)

3. Anything that Toomey and Perry had going is okay by bu$h
This is just a joke okay. Toomey and Perry are not the two involved in the rumor but Toomey was a lobbyist. (makes ya wonder about Toomey too)

Now here goes:
Comedian's View of the U.S. Election Campaign

"President Bush said the only time two men should ever be in bed together is if one is a lobbyist and one is a politician."

Toomey is known as "the enforcer". Wonder if anybody has an inside to how Toomey is acting these days. For more background on Toomey here is a link to a Texas Montlhy article. You have to register to read it but it is free.

The Enforcer (May, 2003)

FOR THE PAST TWENTY YEARS, Mike Toomey has loomed large in state government, as imposing and immovable—and some would say as cold—as the pink-granite Capitol itself. First as a Republican legislator, then as the Capitol's premier business lobbyist, and now as chief of staff to his longtime friend Governor Rick Perry, the intense 53-year-old Houston lawyer has promoted a steadfast conservative agenda with little tolerance for compromise with—or mercy for—his adversaries.

7. I wonder if the reality is that he ended up in a psych ward...
suicidal or emotional breakdown after the "incident", and an apendectomy is just cover.

8. I guess we'll find out if he has another breakdown, is admitted
to the hospital, and a stupid press secretary announces that "his other appendix" was removed!
