Be very afraid: The latest Bush danger
I know i stay pretty far ahead in thinking and sometimes it makes folks ignore what i have to say but HEADS UP!!

Did anyone hear Bush mention "THE GREATER MID-EAST" during his press conference with the President of Tunisia? If you didn't, go back and get the transcript. Now follow me on this. WTF does he mean by "the greater mid-east?" (I am assuming that all of you here know that Tunisia is a country in northern Africa, northwest of Libya.) That's why Bush's phrase was so alarming to me. What the hell are the neocons trying to do now...lop off a chunck of Africa and make it part of the mid-east? Oh, in case you have forgotten, Egypt and Libya are African nations and full of natural resources. But getting back to my original, question. What do you think it all means?

I would tell you what I think it means but i doubt that it would be allowed to stay posted. But, greater minds than mine out there...you should be alarmed by this.

1. As usual it means
that bushsucks* has thought of a few English words and strung them together into semi-gibberish (his native tongue). Nothing to get alarmed about.

2. re: "greater mid-east": neo con's ideology is clear, a "domino theory" of
American influence in the mid east, forged by force, dominated by American corporate interests, with a window trapping of "democracy" as the sell here at home.....

9. The point should not be lost that he was with the President of Tunsia
the inference here is that those northern African countries are included in this "greater mid-east."

7. Defining the region based on religion.
In this sense Israel is the exception, but if the neocons can successfully define the region based on some superficial religious-based analyses, then they can get Christians behind it (war, occupation, etc.) all the way. It's far fetched at this point, but when we start hearing the c-word*, I'll begin to feel very afraid.

*"crusade"--what did you think I meant?
