John Kasich's "Outrage of the Week" -- gutter politics (Mike Malloy) |
|
this is what Kasich said:
Last week heartland did a segment on gutter politics. There was quite a dustup, which found one guest walking off the set. We received nearly a thousand e-mails, and the result was split right down the middle. Half thought i was wrong, maybe a little too tough. Half thought the guests were. Nearly everyone agreed that gutter politics need to end. Viewer diane parker from california summed it up: The political powers to be need to get a hold on attacks between each other during presidential elections, then we will give birth to younger voters who will refuse to become involved in the democratic process. Judy rottermel serving in the military writes "you're spot on. Candidate bashing does little to bring issues to the table. Only an up-front and thorough debate on the national issues we face will give the american people the avenue to make their choice this coming november." Look, folks, you know I've been a republican all my life, but everyone on television, it's something. I will let you know i try not to be partisan on this show, and in fact, throughout this career, i have not been a partisan but an ideologue because i want the truth. Character assassination and slander will not be tolerated on "heartland." I don't care if you are democrat, republican or martian, we are going to engage in healthy debate, not slander and innuendo. Frankly, if we doshgs the next 8 months will be too tough. If you want to see character assassination and slander, guess what? You ain't going to get it here on "heartland."
I got the video clip too if someone wants to host it.. pm me.

1. Ok, assuming Kasich is telling the truth |

about the e-mail responses, it's shocking that *half* of those Fox viewers thought he was too biased against Malloy. Fox News viewers citing a bias against a liberal? That only shows how far off base he was.
But really, I don't believe him for a second. Kasich is a known liar. When Kasich and Hugh Hewitt both feigned ignorance of Newt Gingrich's word list, the lie was so transparent it was funny. I'll bet most the response was critical of Kasich.

..Sat there smiling like a clueless jackass. I can't believe that they both claimed not to know what Malloy was talking about re. the word list. Kasich acted like an indignant little shit when Malloy pushed them and went to a personal attack when they couldn't respond. Kasich can kiss my hairy ass. I'll never watch his brain-rot Teevee show again.

3. Mike Malloy didn't walk off, his mic was cut. |
|
Fox News likes to cut the mic on people they don't agree with and than claim to want civil debate.
Evil fucks.

4. Malloy said they cut his mike .... |
|
and he knew then that he may as well leave. I was listening to his show, and he played clips. Mike Malloy started out fairly quiet and nice, then they baited him, and when the fur started to fly, and Malloy make some points, they cut his microphone. He said that he didn't storm out, but saw no point in staying when he knew that the producer was not going to reactivate his microphone. Fox staged things; it was obvious.

and must suffer sinners.
I think they are too pure for television.

6. I'd personally like to see a matchup in a debate... |
|
of Malloy and James Carville against Hewitt and Kasich. I sent an e-mail to Malloy suggesting it and he seems agreeable to it and says he may even contact Carville about it! I also sent Carville an e-mail along with the link to Mike's website which has the video of last week's gangup on Malloy!
