Who's the most disgusting Repug out there today? Make your case.
Edited on Sun Feb-22-04 08:22 AM by Sandpiper
For me, it's gotta be Haley Barbour. This guy, quite literally, ran for governor of Mississippi with a bible in one hand and a confederate flag in the other. Not to mention his attending fundraisers with overtly racist organizations like The Council of Conservative Citizens.

The most disturbing part is that he won.

3. I truly can't pick just one
The top four would be Norquist, McConnell, Cheny and Limbaugh. The good news is each is having some problems: Norquist's over-the-top statement comparing the estate tax to the Holocaust; McConnell taking some heat for the Chandler,s win; Cheny in warming water on multiple fronts; and Limbaugh's pill-popping. Oh yeah, I forgot Novak...rats-this is tough.

For his dishonesty, his ubiquitous Clinton imitation, his shameless plugging of his worthless books, and for doing is his best every single day to do for Bush what Monica did for Bill. He's absolutely disgusting. :puke:

11. william kristol, david horowitz, ann coulter
hard to pick just one, but these three i find make my flesh crawl the most.

kristol's demeanor, that of a prince from serfdom days, that unsettling grin, like a possum eatin' shit, and his pompous delivery, combined with his over the top nazi rhetoric, make him a fave on the talk circuit.

horowitz is certified, bona fide, paranoid schiz. he's the kid in highschool who always sucked up to the teachers and usually got his face dunked into the toilet daily. he can barely contain his insanity, and like a guest on jerry springer, gets an absolute erection from pissing off and freaking people out. he should be heavily medicated.

and coulter, jeeeezzuzzz! like a rabid, starving jackal, ghoulish, bizarre, angular and severe. some men actually think she's cute, but i just find her startingly repulsive.

but it's hard not to love haley barbour, all he needs is the carpet bag and the stovetop hat and wide lapels. and who can resist that cute gary bauer? what a MAN!

14. JD Hayworth
Former Phoenix radio/TV SPORTS guy JD Hayworth. Look up the word "Buffoon" in Webster's and it describes him to a T, for example:
"a ludicrous figure" or "a gross and usually ill-educated or stupid person".
Don't take my word for it though, please review this sample of JD logic on Iraq and "Bush Haters":

"The Bush haters are also befuddled that most Americans believe Saddam Hussein had a role in the September 11 attacks. In fact, there is a definite 9/11-Saddam link, although probably not a direct one. Setting aside the question of how much contact there was between al Qaeda and Saddam, it was Saddam's invasion of Kuwait in 1990 that set off a chain of events that led inexorably to 9/11."

Here's the link to the full article, if you can stomach it:
http://www.nationalreview.com/comment/comment-hayworth091803.asp

JD is nothing more than a fat, big-mouthed, glad-handing blow-hard. Did I mention he's also a buffoon?

Regards,
Gunnyfw

Chambliss attack ad against Cleland both misleading, reckless

http://www.gainesvilletimes.com/news/stories/20021016/opinion/297860.h...

U.S. Rep. Saxby Chambliss, the Republican in the contest, is airing a television ad in his contest against incumbent Sen. Max Cleland, the Democratic Party candidate, that features Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein. Chambliss' message: Cleland is soft on homeland defense and doesn't support President Bush

Cleland, after all, knows more than a little about fighting for his country. As a company commander during the Vietnam War, he lost an arm and both legs.

Chambliss, who was granted deferments during the war, is quick to unfairly characterize Cleland's commitment to the security of his neighbors and countrymen.

26. They're all vermin... the filth running this country really annoys me.
Edited on Sun Feb-22-04 01:55 PM by HypnoToad
Bush* is obvious. King Vermin.

Schwarzennegger is a thickhead and is "The Verminator", a cybernetic piece of vermin. Bush betrayed him once, he says he's not feeling betrayed and still thinks Bush will help his state if Californians' electoral votes go to Bush. :eyes: Not to forget the hypocrisy, Shwarzie is for "rule of law" yet wants to run for Prez. Uh, doesn't a little document say that only American-born citizens can run for Prez? "Rule of law" seems to be good only when it doesn't become an inconvenience to one's personal goals. Typical repuke action there...

Norm Coleman is a degenerate too. Starting with using Wellstone's murder to lure in votes and, Nov 5, on page 17A on the Star Tribune, he says "I thank God for this opportunity". Yes, God obviously killed Wellstone so that he could win the election. Wellstone, after that, went out of his way to slam and insult Wellstone. For that alone (and there's lots of issues involving this particular vermin), Coleman is a sleazy sack of stale shit.

I could go on, but I'm tired of the filth running this country.

edit: spelling

Tom DeLay, for pure selfishness and evil.

George W. Bush, for being selfish AND ignorant AND mendacious. Oh, did I mention he was lily-livered? He can't even face a relatively cowed press corps.

Norm Coleman, whose picture belongs in the dictionary next to the word "obnoxious."

So many bullies, so many hypocrites, so many overpaid "got mine" rich boys. How can one possibly choose?
