1. I don't know but.......
they should be! I'm reading his book,"American Dynasty" right now and he does not like this group of thugs at all! And he's respected author. No skeletons in his closet like James Hatfield who wrote "Fortunate Son".

3. yes they are. he speaks the truth about them & they can't hide from it
Phillips can say things about republicans and get away with it that democrats can not.

Phillips reminds me abi of FDR, in that he is a part of a specially privileged economic class in the country, but recognizes that massive changes must be made to secure the future prosperity of the system.

4. Number two on the NYT best seller list
right behind Suskind's book.

Meanwhile right wing enablers are getting beaten up on the speaking circuit and their books fall right of the list--presuming they ever get on it.

I just checked to see how well Ann Coulter's Treason was doing on Amazon. This highly forgettable work is presently ranked 4,761 in sales--but it's very popular in:

British Telecommunications Ltd (#15), and
Flashnet Communications (#12).

I think we need to keep an eye on those people.

Meanwhile, back in Georgia, I suppose it's too late too late to barricade the book stores, burn the book reviews, and strangle the librarians. The right can always promote illiteracy in Georgia schools and keep their delusions fresh by refusing to hear well respected authors.
