Parade Magazine - Top 10 worst dictators |
|
I hope this is the appropriate forum.
Our Parade Magazine has a listing of the top 10 worst dictators in the world. Seems Saddam was on last year's list but has been dropped because he's now out of power. However, Kim Jong Il was first and is still first. Seems as though this is a useful resource for fighting the "But we got rid of Saddam!" nonsense put forth by supporters of the war.
FYI, the top 10 worst countries are:
1) North Korea 2) Burma 3) China 4) Zimbabwe 5) Saudi Arabia (take that, *!) 6) Equatorial Guinea 7) Sudan 8) Turkmenistan 9) Cuba 10) Swaziland
So, the next time a freeper tells you we're fighting for freedom, ask when we're going to invade these other countries.

1) North Korea ---> known off-shore oil deposits (quite large actually) 2) Burma ---> mega-oil reserves. 3) China ---> duh! 4) Zimbabwe ---> nearby oil reserves, strategic location 5) Saudi Arabia (take that, *!) ---> ummm..duh! 6) Equatorial Guinea ---> also has oil nearby 7) Sudan ---> ahem... 8) Turkmenistan ---> has oil and is near large oil reserves 9) Cuba ---> they're just a classic "commie nation" 10) Swaziland ---> strategic location, not just for oil

3. So why is China a favored trade nation? |
|
I know it all comes down to more profit for the money grubbers, but I find it deplorable the amount of crap sold in America that comes from this oppressive regime, while more American jobs are lost every day. It just stinks.

5. Last Time They Did This - One Year Ago |
|
About a year ago, no less an authority than Parade Magazine listed the ten worst dictatorships and guess what. Saudi Arabia edged out Sadam for second place, (North Korea took first of course).
Why did Saudi Arabia drop from #2 to #5 in the last year to earn this?
Parade is a POS rag

6. No Uzbekistan? Belarus? |

Cuba is definitely a brutal dictatorship, but you'd be hard-pressed to argue that Castro's worse than Islam Karimov.

8. I read the headline before I looked at the photos.... |

My gut reaction was to see our little dictator* along with the others. Then I snapped back into the reality of ameriKa.
