3. basically bush won`t win illinois
unless god intervenes. the problem is the senate race,which maybe closer than expected a few months ago. bush will lose republican voters but those voters will vote for a republican senator. several years ago the republicans voted out straight party voting ,you could just punch republican and all republicans would get your vote.this has come back to bite the republicans in the ass. oh yes, the last i heard we still haven`t resolved the bbv and bush being on the ballot yet...

6. I think you're right on the money about Bush
losing Illinois. I'm more concerned about the Senate race as well. I'm hoping 'Lil Richie' will do his best to get out his troops no matter who wins the Democratic primary, but I honestly think that if Dan Hynes loses, he's not going to put much effort out for anyone else.

5. I'm taking 3 kids out to lunch
next week after getting them registed to vote. They already know what's expected of them, even though, after all, this is a democracy and they can make up their own mind.

Of course, anyone who is capable of making up their own mind could hardly be expected to vote for Shrub....
