Is Bush going to face impeachment? |
|
Nader said something like this. That Rep. Conyers will initiate it. Anyone know more?

2. Not unless Dems win back |
|
both the House and Senate, with Bush retaining the WH. Seems like an unlikely scenario. If enough Dems come out to vote with enough force to win back both houses of Congress, I see the Dem nominee winning by a pretty comfortable margin.

Impeachment proceedings originate in the House. The House, like the Senate, is Republican controlled.

7. Conyers might introduce a bill of impeachment |
|
but without any votes in the House, its not going anywhere.
There's only one way to get Bush out of office: elect a Democrat in November.

8. No way. However,he could be the first pResident to be convicted of crimes |

committed during his tenure. He's looking to go down in history as the most reviled politician this country has ever had. I'm feeling better about our chances of getting rid of this wretched little man with each passing day. Even if they attempt the unthinkable, use of power after losing the 2004 election to extend their feverish desires for empire,I believe their fiercest battles will not be fought on foreign soil but right here in the US. The mask is slipping and our people are revolted by what they see and what has already been done in their name.

9. It is very much a possibility. And Republicans have talked about it |
|
Take a look at everything that has ocurred. I think it is very much a probability.
Republicans are switching alliances now. Time will tell. We will see if we are a nation of true patriots or just of loud talking cowards.

12. Republicans have talked about it? |

I defy you to name one Congressional Republican who would support Bush's impeachment.
This is a distraction - the only way to remove Bush is to get a Democrat elected in November.

Clinton was guilty of hanky panky in the oval office...but Bush is guilty of the deaths of 500+ US citizens in Iraq because of his lies.
Which one is more serious?

Because Republican congresses impeach Democrats, not Republicans.
