1. My wife, a very non violent, very liberal person said that she |
|
"wants to ring his neck". Although I agree I kept quiet for fear that she might remember that I voted for him last time and decide to ring *my* neck.

So these threads belong here. I agree, not in the Lounge, however.

Now I believe he is an idiot who is no longer relevant to today. I would love to be able to call him other names, like a fart smelling, bug-eyed, dickwad, but I am trying not to be negative today.

If we get any more of Nader's "help," in this country, they'll have "Arbeit macht frei" on the front of my office building by next November.

That's as low as I'm going to go for Nader. He makes fun of himself. Just saying his name is tantamount to slander.

has been for the last 3 years? Counting all of his money from the chimps taxcut?
Where in the hell were you Nader while the treasury was being raped, the chimp was attending 2,000$ a plate fundraisers and we were planning an ill concieved war in Iraq to profit the corporations that you speak out against? WHERE IN THE HELL WERE YOU? If you gave two shits about the direction of this country, you would have been speaking out for the last 3 years. Unfortunately you sat silent.
You are a son of a bitch.

are being paid big bucks, not see a difference between the 2 parties.
We all need to contact McCain and beg him for the good of our country to run as an independent.
There is none so blind as he who refuses to see was written with Ralphie boy in mind.
Nader..you suck!!!

I see a difference.
One party is against me for religious reasons, the other party is against me because it thinks I'm a vote-losing issue.

17. Well, he may get my vote. |
|
As much as I want Chimp Jr. to lose, there's no way I can vote for a candidate who is stumping against gay marriage like Kerry.
Sigh.

19. Yeah but Bush ain't exactly pro-gay marriage either |
|
And you've got a WAY better chance of achieving that through a Democratic President than through a guy who has no chance at winning.

Instead of voting for the only candidate who can get Bush out of the White house, you vote for a GOP shill and help keep Bush in power. Bush is against gay marriage too you know.
Your position does not make any sense. Who is going to be generally more gay-friendly a Democrat or George W. Bush? Maybe Rove is right to use this gay marriage business as a wedge issue. They pay Ralphie to run and hope that he attracts enough narrow minded, single issue voters to allow Bush to stay in power, keep that oh-so gay friendly John Ashcroft as A.G. and pass as many anti-gay laws as they want.
You may not like Kerry's stance but you are voting against your own best interests by voting for Nader the Bush Enabler.

You obviously don't want Chimpy to lose very strongly otherwise you'd be able to see beyond this one issue and vote for what is in the best interest of the entire country.

"This one issue" = my equal rights as a citizen of this country.
Sure I'd rather have Kerry (or any Democrat) win.
But a politician who has already sold gay rights down the river does not deserve the support of *any* self-respecting gay man or woman--or anyone who cares for them.
One issue? Yes. It's fundamental when it's your life.

voting Nader is still cutting off your own nose to spite your face. Do you really think Kerry's stance on gay rights is the equivalent to the Bush-Ashcroft position? Thats what your position boils down to.
