people like this would just collapse on their own self-destructive ambitions. When I envision such an event talikng place, I imagine the cartoon-like "vacuum machine consuming itself."

5. Now, now...Hannity is NOT Hitler! |
|
Hannity is much closer to being Julius Streicher.

|
Of course he believes in Katherine Harris' view about voting rights. But what does this mean?

...where he assumes all the other good little brain-dead Republicans will immediately put Cruella in a leadership position.

This is the scoop on Kathy...
As soon as Sen. Graham announced that he was not running for another term (too bad), Katherine started circulating talk that she wanted to run for his place. As soon as that surfaced, she was #1 in the polls. We already had three men running including our old friend Bill McCollum of Impeachment fame (or infamy). Within days after this talk started, Mel Martinez (from Orlando) announced that he was going to resign as Secretary of HUD and a few days later announced that he was running for guess what Graham's seat!! Around that same Time Kathy announced -- weepily -- that she was not running -- at least not this year! This is how gw bush awards loyalty.
Please if you know anyone in Florida ask them to vote for Betty Castor. She is a great Democrat and a lady with a lot of class, intelligence, and gunts! We can't afford to loose Florida.
PS _ While I'm at it, before he went to HUD Mel was Chair of the Orange County Commission. Funny, he forgets that he couldn't have won that seat without the help of the Democratic Party.

Aside from him being a Republican, what do you think of Martinez?
How conservative does he seem to be? I know he's done a terrible job at HUD, but that doesn't mean all that much...
Welcome to the DU by the way.

14. After Martinez announced |
|
Katherine persisted in her ambitions. The word was that BushCo wanted Martinez and did not look favorably on a Harris candidacy. She paid a personal visit to the White House, hoping to convince Rove. Then she scheduled a press conference where she was going to announce her "decision." Strange to say, she somehow decided against it. Hannity is dreaming.
