4. Not necessarily.
Here in Texas, it would be okay to vote for Nader. A Democratic president would never win with Texas. I don't know why.

I've spent the last two days trying to knock a whole in the wall so that these Nadir-backers could see the light, but you can't reach 'em. Everytime I try to tell a Nadir fan that he/she is fucking up MY future and MY FAMILY'S future just so that they can preen and strut in all their libber-than-thou glory, I get them telling me things like, "too bad. You guys didn't want Dean, so nyah nyah nyah. Woof woof blah blah, special interests follow blindly, Kerry is an enabler, etc, etc." It's like they're all reading from the same flyer!

And the most ironic part is that not only did I vote for Nadir in 2000, I also was a HUGE Dean supporter who contributed to his campaign!! You'd think that the voice of some experience would count for something, but no....I learned from my mistakes, just like in 05, these guys are definitely going to learn the hard way that the mandirinate is not the electorate.

Third Party Vote in 04 = Bush Presidency in 05.

Rules to start discussion threads in the General Discussion forum

1. If you start a thread in the General Discussion forum, you must present your opinion in a manner that is not inflammatory, which respects differences in opinion, and which is likely to lead to respectful discussion rather than flaming. Some examples of things which should generally be avoided are: unnecessarily hot rhetoric, nicknames for prominent Democrats or their supporters, broad-brush statements about groups of people, single-sentence "drive-by" thread topics, etc.
