just mentioned the need for "tort reform," SPECIFICALLY targetting asbestos!!!!!!!!
can you believe it? what company is one of those with the greatests liability vis a vis asbestos lawsuits?
he also talked about alleviating the "high cost of health" for small businessmen meaning, of course, the high cost of health CARE, but, then, what does one expect.
he was droning on about how important entrepreneurs are in creating new jobs, but he sure as hell didn't mention the fact that the SBA had to STOP FUNDING their most popular loan guarantee program last month (or was it December last?), cause they RAN OUT of FUNDING.

2. Gov. Warner, D(ino), VA, and some dork from Idaho take questions now |
|
Warner seems to be yet another of those who just lap up the BS been spread all over them
reporter asks about no child left behind
Warner talks about how VA is one of states in the vanguard, says they need increased flexibility (bi-lingual, special ed, etc.)
Warner is very wimpish, it seems
Kempthorne says ALL governors back no child left behind, then LIES about the list of "failing schools," which he says doesn't exist.
well, there may not be a list, but MY school is on somebody's list to be TAKEN OVER BY the STATE of Illinois this year, if we don't improve our scores in several areas.
what a fricking LIAR!!!!!

4. yeah! what was up with that? was that not meant for us hoi polloi? |
|
not that anyone there would have asked him any challenging questions
it's amazing, though, how each and EVERY governor I've heard speak is INfinitely more well-spoken, more able to think on his/her feet, (course, it's hard to think on your feet when they're at the same level as your HANDS, hahahahahahhaahaha....had to laugh at my self!), maintain the semblance of knowing at least somewhat of what they're speaking about.
and that fricking faux-folksy manner of his!
of all the irritating BS mannerisms he employs, that is by far the most transparently PHONY?
who in the world does he think he's kidding?
haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!
Arnold is taking questions now

just saw dumbo on Dobbs, who quoted the "sharp elbow/quick tongue" assphorism.
they replayed him saying it, and he was at MAXIMUM smirk/headbob when he said the sharp elbow......very interesting, though, he reigned it in before the quick tongue bit, getting that hard-eyed, Carla Faye Tucker look in his eye
