Gay marriage seems to be a wedge issue between Freepers.
Also, they are trying to figure out why David Drier and Tom Delay would be opposed to a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage. Hmmm....now why would that be?

I honestly think this whole DOMA thing might backfire on Rove.

3. One minute they love Dreier, the next he's a "fag."
I've said he should be outed if he continues with his anti-gay votes, but I think opposing the amendment should earn him a reprieve.

4. Did you catch how many times "activist" was used in Bush's speech?
Activist courts, activist judges...

This Bush push for a gay marriage amendment is also about highlighting the dispute over appointing judges.

5. Tom Delay opposes the amendment?
If true that is very interesting. Does he give a reason? Is it possible that Delay has some respect for the Constitution?

6. Which CA district does Drier represent??
That might be a clue.

As for delay, I have no idea. Bob Barr opposes it, perhaps for the same reason(s).
