Isn't it odd? The Olympics is a few months off, and no one seems to care |

I know that it's a long distance, but even when it was in Australia, there was a lot of "pre-Olympics buzz..
With all the "terror" stuff, I bet this will be a very poorly attended Olympics.. Poor Greece.. They finally get it back where it started, and it will probably be a big bust:(..
It might actually be "time" to let thses "games" fade away... No one really believes in the "community of athletes" anymore anyway.. The athletes are NOT amateur and lots are using steroids, so medals don't mean as much as they used to... and then there is always to fact that they are so poorly covered by our media..:(

1. Aren't they still 6 months out? |

I suspect when Spring really comes, we'll start getting more buzz :-)

2. It should start to come up around then |

I know I'm looking forward to them, although I wouldn't want to be a US athlete in the Olympic Village this time around.

The baseball tournament is the last vestige of real baseball, apart from the steriod-pumped, franchise-killing, money-drenched Major Leagues which are owned by George Steinbrenner.
