This amendment is an attack on the rights of citizens, and should be quashed. Personally, I want gays and lesbians to get married if they want to-we heteros have done our best to destroy the institution-we need your help to save it by giving us examples of loving commitment!

3. Done. What the hell is it with Republicans and their undying need to
mess with the Constitution. It was written by people far more intelligent and patriotic then they are. What is their problem? God forbid that they interpret it as it was intended. The dumb asses have probably never even read the Bill of Rights.

8. Perhaps the undying need to mess with it is to get the public used to it
being messed with. Then they can mess with it big time and people would be more likely to let it slide.

Sorta like the long, dragged out attacks on Clinton ending with impeachment for a frivolous reason when all else failed making Americans tired of it so they would be less likely to advocate it for anyone else.

Could it be some sort of inoculation program?
