Halliburton's "Code of Conduct" Letter |
|
This excerpt from the "letter to employees" is from Halliburton's web site:
snip. . .
The Halliburton Company Code of Business Conduct is a guide for every Company Director, officer, employee and agent in applying legal and ethical practices to their everyday work. The Code describes not only our standards of integrity but also some of the specific principles and areas of the law that are most likely to affect us.
There is no quality more important than integrity. This applies to a business just as it does to an individual. Integrity is a core value in our Code of Business Conduct.
This goes on and on. In the meantime, Halliburton is under two criminal investigations, traded with Iraq, through a subsidiary, during the "sanctions" period, etc. etc. Amazing, isn't it?
