Looks like AP was right about the use of the word "spree"
it's becoming a favorite of the "lib'rul media".

Just last night, top-of-the-hour radio news referred condescendingly to "the spree of gay marriages in San Francisco".

5. Yes, and the chewy ones are the candy equivalent of evil.
They are addictive as hell.

They are the heroin of candy.

Worse.

7. So true.
If you open a pack, you simply MUST finish it. No matter how much your teeth hurt from the sugar and chewing - those bright little discs simply call to you. Resistance is futile. I cannot buy them anymore.

9. Hehe. That sounds familiar!
If my wife buys them, she usually buys two bags because she knows the first bag will disappear in no time.

2. Spree Well
Edited on Wed Feb-25-04 01:59 PM by orwell
Spree implies "out of control". This fits perfectly with the intended characterizations of homo/pansexuality as "licentious" or "undisciplined."

You get the drift...coded hate speech.

http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=spree

Doesn't matter though, someone will bring up an example of where it has a negative connotation and then someone else will bring up a positive one but that won't matter and yipsy diddledy dibbity dee.
