I Just Returned From Seeing the Passion
Ok. You wouldn't believe it unless you went and looked. This is the worst, worst movie about Christ ever made. Yes, Gibson is sick, and I couldn't believe the people crying and sniffling in the theatre.

The violence is ridiculous. Talk about over the top. The movie had the opposite effect on me that it was intended to have. After seeing Gibson's depiction, you wonder how people can continue to believe literally in the story. It's total crap. Gibson reduces the story to the point where it makes no sense whatsoever.

Last Temptation of Christ was a work of art compared to the Passion.

I love "Last Temptation of Christ"
I have a feeling i'll be skipping this movie. Local review in the Philly paper said the movie was "Too much Good Friday and not enough Easter Sunday".

I thought the whole concept about Jesus Death was the fact that he came back to life on Easter

2. Yeah, LToC was awesome
from what I've heard, Gibson's movie isn't even in the same league.

3. The point of the movie...
was about the suffering that Christ endured. That was Mel's focus, not the teachings or the resurrection.

That said, I haven't seen it yet. But I plan to.
