Social Security phone messages are already pushing Greenspan's idea |
|
I was on the phone with Social Security.
One of the messages I was listening too was about how "major changes would be needed to keep social security viable in the future"...
Very interesting...
"The sooner those changes are made, the less they will cost"...sounds like Bush sound bites...
So the younger generation gets to pay off all the debts and they won't be able to retire until their around 80 if they live that long...plus their checks will be half as much...sounds like a plan to end the system entirely.
I say we eliminate the cap, its unfair to the working poor that the working rich get a break.

is an excellent idea. Do that and repeal those tax cuts for the rich and SS will have no freaking problems.

2. They'll find loopholes though |
|
They "pay" themselves in dividends or capital gains then.
I wonder if the "I" (Insurance) in SSI should be put into effect - why does Bill Gates need to collect Social Security when he hits 67? - the old "Means" testing, but it may need to become a reality.
