why Bush's $200 million won't win him the election . . .
the Bush fatigue that has been building since the start of the Iraq war is gradually escalating into Bush rage . . . "moderates" and conservatives of all stripes are starting to see through BushCo's deceptions and outright lies, and they're pissed . . .

that's good news . . . the better news is that, once someone has seen through Bush, there's no going back . . . when people realize (as they are doing) that they've been duped by a Neanderthal moron with absolutely no understanding of their lives and no empathy for their concerns, no amount of slick commercials are going to turn them back to the chimp . . . as they begin to understand, for example, that they really were lied to, and that over 500 young Americans have died because of that lie, they become so furious that there's nothing Bush can do to win them back . . .

this year, it's not about the money . . . it's a referendum on the incumbent, and he's going to lose badly based entirely on his own record on issues that matter to people (jobs, overtime pay, Social Security, etc.) . . .

1. Money isn't everything
Bush outspent Gore in 2000 and still lost the popular vote. More recently, Dean raised and spent an enormous amount and still lost every single primary and caucus.

2. $ will not help a bad product
If you had $250M to advertise the new yugo .... sure some people may purchase it. But it is still a yugo.

3. Besides, it's NOT 200 million. They haven't raised that much.
A week or so ago I remember seeing some item with a 150 million dollar estimate. Just a couple of days ago, it was 105 million dollars. AND, they're having to start spending it much earlier than they expected.

4. 200 million can be used
to bribe, intimidate, threaten, and kill. Oh, and place more false opinion.

6. A big reason will be
his grating personality on TV. It's just difficult to watch him. Clinton had the reassuring face and persona on the screen. Even with 200 mil + there are only so many ways to put lipstick on a pig.
