now it's time to kill the Federal Discrimination Amendment and sink Bush! |
|
DeLay isn't letting it come to a vote in the House. Since if he opposes it that means he actually has a single ounce of decency in his body, which I can not believe is the case with DeLay, I imagine he has ulterior motives, in other words he probably thinks this can backfire big time. Let's hope so. But Frist is all for it.
So let Frist bring it to a vote. It's confirmed we can kill it, it might not even get a majority.
Result? Bush ends up looking like a huge dunce. He can whine about morality a little, the fundie preachers can go on TV and scream about how America will be destroyed, people see how wacky the right is, and it benefits us in the end.
So come on Frist. Bring it to the floor.

bring it to a vote. It will hurt the repubs more than the dems, and let's not leave it hanging through the election.
Now is the time to take sides.

Bush will keep it alive so long as Mass. goes ahead with marriages on may 17th. Rove will use this to attempt to drive a spike in to the hearts of the moderate Dems who still believe in that God-Guilt, Gays are Bad bullshit. Must be decisive on Bush as a leader who cares only to further devide us by manipulating media with wedge issue like this. So far I like what Kerry is saying, The media Pukes want more!!!

They'll use the fact it was voted down to get the Religious Reich to come to the polls in November.

4. This issue needs to sink like a rock now. |

It's a divisive distraction. Our representatives need to vote it down, say almost nothing, literally not giving the media a discussion about it and get back to:
The economy. The war. The environment. Bush's never ending lies. Bush's failed integrity. Bush's hundreds of broken campaign promises. Bush's links with Saudi Arabian oil families.
