it seems that the most important issues to the main stream media are the passion movie, and the gay ammedenment, which at this time does not even have enough votes to pass congress, yet alone get ratified by the states.
The corporate media is starting to behave like they did in 2000. It is going to be very difficult to bring out the issues with the journalism that exists today in this country.

3. Start our own underground Newspaper and |

pass it out where ever it can be passed out. Someone(s) can post it to web pages and the rest of us can download and head to Kinkos.

6. Remind everyone you can... |

...Bush blows the budget with tax givaways to the rich, and who do they want to make up the difference? Future SS beneficiaries = Normal, average citizens!
Over ten years ago they were laying the foundations for SS "reform" by coming out with scary predictions about its insolvency... but only a few places noted that that conclusion was based on assuming anemic growth rates (~1.5%/year for 75 years, well below the average of the previous 75). At more reasonable assumptions, the added growth eliminated the problem. But that part didn't get much coverage, and so the crisis mentality became the "conventional wisdom" on the subject.
There's nothing wrong with Social Security that can't be fixed with some tweaking. The REAL threat to SS is the same core of ideologues and corporatists that have been attacking EVERY non-business civil institution for the last 30 years.

4. Alan Greenspan is not part of the bush administration |
|
All bush has to do is say that he doesn't agree with Greenspan's recommendation

7. Saying is one thing... |
|
...but looting (excuse me, "privatizing") SS is on his backers' agendas, so like just about everything with him, we need to focus attention on his deeds, not his words.
