FDA warns of suit over state's drug Web site

"Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty is courting a federal lawsuit — and potentially even jail time — in his showdown with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration over the state of Minnesota's prescription drug Web site.

"On Wednesday, Associate FDA Commissioner William Hubbard said that it's "very clear" Pawlenty's actions violate federal law and that the commissioners will have to decide how to respond.

"The governor, by essentially thumbing his nose at us, is putting the burden on us to take action against him," Hubbard said in an interview. "We'd really like to work these problems out in some amicable way, but that might not be possible."

Tim Pawlenty is the Republican governor of Minnesota.

2. Pawlenty will pass the buck but break federal law?

He says he won't ever raise taxes, passing the buck to home owners, schools and local government.

However, he is perfectly willing to break federal law? Why? I can see him doing a photo op in jail over this. He's gotten national media coverage on this issue, gotten his face into the spotlight.

This pandering guy is all flash and dazzle - he has no substance.
