One impediment to Nader getting on state ballots |
States with Democratic Secretary of States will likely be real hard-assess when it comes to certifying the signatures. "Oh, that signature is illegible! OUT!"; "Oh, no area code listed on the phone number! OUT!"; "Whoop! That's not the address listed on this signer's voter registration. OUT!" Republican secretaries of state will likely be more lenient, but Democratic secretaries could make sure every i is dotted and every t is crossed when they count signatures. Nader no longer has the organization and funds needed to file multiple lawsuits to get onto the state ballots.

4. I'm for following the law |
I'm for following the law rigorously and right down to every dotted i and crossed t. That's what I expect secretaries of state to do.
