Doesn't the US grant asylum to individuals seeking haven for political reasons? If so, why are we turning back boats filled with people trying to escape the political violence in Haiti?

that Bush is behind the coupe. Let's face it, with the unemployment here in the US, we can't let all these other folks come in whenever our idiot leader sponsors a coupe or invades a country. If things keep going the way they are, they might have to stop the flow of US citizens leaving this place.
