Yuck!!!! A more disgusting attempt at humor and baseless attacks on the left would be hard to find. But, is Bruce Tinsley getting a little fed up with W*? Look at his last three cartoons. "Spending like a drunken Democrat", "Taking conservatives for granted", "backing into a second term". Yes he takes his pot shots at the left, but is he simply trying to use humor to mask a growing contempt? If we can't trust Mallard Fillmore to support the pResident, who can we trust?

Let us compare:

The Democrat: A decorated war hero, and a 30-year veteran of American politics with a 91% rating by the AFL-CIO.

The Incumbent: A drunken, coke-sniffing, AWOL, unelected, C-student frat boy.

3. The point is

his view of Democrats hasn't changed, but he seems to be realizing that indeed W* may well be "A drunken, coke-sniffing, AWOL, unelected, C-student frat boy" after all.

I just think this shows that there are cracks growing in Bush's most loyal base. They may still think Democrats are "pathetic", but they are finding it increasingly hard to throw their support behind the idiot boy king.
