Can you take a minute of your time to help me out.
State Senator Tim Sheldon, in Washington State, has done the ultimate. He files as a democrat, but over the course of his terms has constantly voted with the Republican party. His voting record is a glaring inconsistency for a party democrat. Why does he file as a democrat? His district, which is largely rural, consistently votes democratic. By filing as a democrat he is taking advantage of the unwitting and under-informed voters who go to the polls and vote their ticket.

This week a local news paper ran an article exposing his most glaring mis-step yet. At a Republican function on Lincoln's Birthday, Democratic Senator Sheldon announced that not only does he support George Bush, but that he will campaign for him and plans to lead the “Democratic Committee to Re-Elect President Bush”.

SERIOUSLY???

Please join us in calling Senator Sheldon's office and asking him to do the right thing, tell the truth, and FILE AS A REPUBLICAN before running for his office again. Please call before five p.m. (PST). The number for his office is 360-786-7668.

Thanks for your help.

2. Can the Democratic Party just disown him? And how progressive are
Dems in his district? And if they are anti-George&Co they can run someone against him in his primary. It is good to see that you are so politically aware at your age. :D
