Back then, it was common practice for two or even more than two men to share a bed. This happened a lot while Lincoln traveled on the 8th Judicial Circuit. Don't know that Speed and Lincoln were lovers-it was said that Speed directed Lincoln to local hookers when he had sexual urges.

I can find no other reason for their existence. They vote repug even though the repugs hate them and dis them every time. Though it's getting to be almost as bad in the democratic party with progressives and blacks. We are assumed and ignored as they are in their party.
