I love the guy and have high respect for him. His state of the union performance was priceless! Senator Kennedy reached out to the idiot bush* and bush* screwed him. Kennedy is getting even supporting Kerry and I'm loving every minute of it!

... but you forgot DeLay. He's an asshole, but he's more effective than any you mention. He's halted more legislation than any of the suggested politicians have introduced, and has gotten more of what he's wanted than any of the above.
The Democratic Party could solve 90% of their problems by having him voted out, but they haven't supported any candidate against him for years.
