1. The circumstances are much different this time |
|
and we are going in with very little preparation. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think this is going to go very well.

2. little preparation ??? |

Mmmmm, if what some reports have said, we caused the problems there, if so, they had to plan to send in troops.

3. Bu$hCo doesn't care about the fallout |
|
from their actions. Their policy is act now, worry about it later. Just like in Iraq. Even when the generals said they needed a larger force not to take Iraq but to maintain order afterwards, Bu$hCo refused to listen. Do you think they will act any differently this time?

8. It is more then clear that we did cause the problems there. |
|
If you pretend the communism was really the threat that it was made out to be, you can almost understand why Regan and his cronies did shit like this. With Bush* on the other hand a policy like this makes no sense at all.

4. Under Clinton, democracy was preserved in Haiti |
|
Under Bush, democracy has been overthrown.
Kind of like what happened in California, only violent and ugly.
Bushco wins one.
Next stop: Venezuela!

9. not so fast......they kept all the forces in place, basically, that led |
|
to this fiasco
they were only there preserving US and global economic interests, miniscule as they are in Haiti, at least in comparison to other hellholes
but, hey!
gotta keep up appearances in our own front yard, don't we?

Under Clinton, 100% of the troops deployed by his admin returned, remember the 16 killed in Somalia were deployed by Bush the Greater, kind of like a welcoming gift to the new administration!!!
