Reporter: "The people of Spain forgot about Iraq until the Bombing"
I heard this on Imus this morning. He was talking on the phone to NBC News reporter Donna Freisen in Madrid. She was going on about how Aznar should have won and the terrorists influenced the election in Spain. She topped it off by saying that the Spanish people had forgotten all about the Iraq war until the bombings in Madrid. Imus asked if the new PM was for Kerry in our election. She said....
"Well, Zapatero is a Socialist". Reporting Murikan style.....

2. I bet she didn't mention..................
that a full 90% of Spaniards were against their country's involvement in Bush's folly BEFORE the war started.
The terrorists didn't affect the election is Spain, stupidity at the highest level influenced the election in Spain.
Very objective reporting by Freison, not worthy of mention anywhere.

3. To be fair I did not hear the whole conversation...
Yet I would hazard a guess she is not even aware of the 90% against the war figure.

5. Isn't 90%, democratically speaking, a majority?
If Socialism responds to the desires of the many, what does Capitalism respond to?

6. Will never happen in this country.
Not with the BFEE exhuming those bits of shredded people and putting them on the campaign trail all the time.

"Talking Point Interviewing"... "So, do you think Al-Kaseltzah influenced the outcome of the Spanish election?"...

Isn't that like asking somebody "So, how long ago did you stop beating your wife?"?
