Raptureready.com is linked to the Drudge Report
While looking for the origin of the rumor that the fundies shut down the Hubble. I ran across this web site
http://www.raptureready.com
Here's their take on the "librul" media.

Satan's little helpers:
How the devil uses the liberal media to manipulate society

The liberal media will be a substantial player in end-times events. When the anti-christ finally does come to power, the liberal media will be tripping over itself to report his every word.

The values that the press currently portrays will perfectly match the values of the forthcoming anti-christ. It will be love at first site.
(funny they seem to LOVE Bush, maybe he's the anti-christ)

When Jesus Christ returns to earth, he'll cast the liberal media into the pit of darkness. In Hell members of the media won't be harassed by us Christians, so they'll have the freedom to follow whatever news stories they choose. They will be able to cover topics like,"Why is Hell so hot?" or "Does a snowball really stand a chance in Hell?" I'm sure the liberal media at that time, will conclude that Hell is a racist and homophobic place, and the the burning sulfur will certainly be noted as destructive to Hell's environment.

I'd like to throw the librul media into a pit of darkness but for a different reason. The constant "worship coverage" of George W Bush or oops the anti-christ.
Lot's of funny stuff here. It's too bad the fundies AREN'T REALLY getting raptured. Life on earth would get allot easier with them gone.

5. Someone posted it here the other day
But I can't remember who it was. It makes sense though. I made a joke to my sister about that. I said the fundies probably shut it down because taking pictures of the big bang might not agree with their creationist's theories. I had no idea I'd be right. Maybe. I'm still looking for the evidence. They'll really be in for it if they did have anything to do with that. EVERYBODY loves the Hubble. It will be Hell to pay. heh heh :)

7. Well I'd consider that pretty silly....
I don't think NASA is terribly concerned with appeasing the fundies.

Hubble may still be maintained. Even if it's not, a better, more powerful telescope will be in place in a few more years. I just don't think the astronomers, engineers and scientists at NASA really give much of a rip about what the fundies think.

12. But Bush does.
I agree that it's probably a long shot but after what they're doing to the Grand Canyon and don't forget their connection to the Voting Machine scandal, it wouldn't be real shocking.:)

15. c'mon...
they're not "doing" anything to the Grand Canyon. Some yahoo got some pamphlets put on display. The whole to-do has caused INCREASED discussion of what's wrong with the "science" contained in those pamphlets. The creationists have NOT won a victory there.

If Bush were really concerned about this, he would cancel the next telescope as well as most every other mission of NASA.

9. They're only linked to 4 sites, one is Drudge
Didn't David Brock say Drudge tried to pick up on him in his book, Blinded by the Right. I wonder if they know. Probably. They're such FRAUDS. Notice how it's dot com instead of org. They have to make money off of everything.

18. I wonder what they
will have to say in 50 or 60 years as they are still waiting for this to happen. My bet is some will finally start getting so frustrated they'll try to blow up the world themselves just to prove they were right.
