"Rates are a function of the marketplace—it’s Economics 101. If demand increases, rates will likely increase and if demand decreases, rates will likely decrease. Clear Channel Radio operates in a highly competitive marketplace and CANNOT unilaterally “raise rates.”
Here's another thing I learned in ol' 101--a corporate monopoly can (and usually does) unilaterally raise rates.

Every answer is "ClearChannel didn't do it, the local carriers did."
Oh man, its so transparent. Like thye just don't care what thier local hosts do on air. That was disproven with the whole Howard Stern deal. Not like it every held water, anyways.
