Did You Catch the 'Homeland Security' Farce--good Dem material

I wish I could remember the particulars but was just talking to a friend about it today. I think it was a Wolfe Blitzer interview (this was in the last couple days) with Ridge. Apparently one of the newspapers has reported that this Homeland Security Dept. is an outrageous farce. The paper said that they have old computers that can't bring in this data they are suppose to be collecting and analyzing from CIA, FBI, etc. (the reason they are suppose to exist in the first place). They have three people who know a little something about bio weapons and zip who know about chem or nuke. And, on and on.......in other words a how many billion dollar rip off and these guys are no more advanced in protecting us (perhaps even worse) than if we sent out the Keystone Cops.

I mean they are reeeealllly bad. Ridge smiled, and squirmed and wormed and said he had hopes for the future, though!! What shit. Well, I know Dems have hit now several times on the issue of Bush spending nothing to make us secure here (all going for da' war). I hope they cite this newspaper article loud and clear and drill the bastards about what's going on. I remember that a lot of government employees got dragged into this thing and their job security gone because of it----ahhh, Dems get a bunch of them to "leak". I smell opportunity here (and to think they were just going to cut the air marshalls back drastically when they heard the al Queada warning-----incompetent bastards). The Dems need to present now a sketch revealing how pathetic this operation is after two years to back what they have been charging all along.
