1. I love that he is not intimidated and
shows much more resolve than O'Neil. This guy is a hero. His testimony is opening alot of eyes in this country. We owe him a great debt.

2. it was great
that he didn't allow the conversation to be all about the White House reaction - as CNN had been doing in their news coverage.

Is it just me or is the mountain of shit about to overwhelm the Bushstappo smear machine. Do you ever notice they don't dispute the facts they just shoot the messenger.
Clarke started his testimony by apoligizing for all of thier shortcomings. This was very clever becouse it irrevocably implacates the admin. When they reply they look like children looking for the handiest excuse.

5. Two Points
A Larry King show is exactly how the message gets out to the nation because most are butt lazy at following politics and goings on in D.C. or news programs. Rove must have puked. Secondly, I did notice a difference in King compared to when he interviews others. He was not warm. It was as if they made him inteview a snake. In other words, like all media whores these guys are so friggin' scared that the public and their bosses will react against them.

6. Larry King Did Have Him On

At least the Larry King Show was a more classy venue than Faux. CondiRice was reduced to appearing on the "fair and balanced."
Watch, Condi will do a sit down and sweet interview with Diane Sawyer. Diane will give her soft balls

Larry King was trying to straddle the fence. If he didn't he would be wheat toast this morning. Outsourced to India.

I thought Clarke was amazing!

11. Did you notice...
how much time Clarke was forced to deal with the superfluous issues King kept serving up?
Clarke did he best -- a great job, actually, calling them on their b.s., but King just kept going back to the same Rove-approved script.

Example:
Clarke: ....and clearly the plan for 9-11 was in place and the Bush administration ignored repeated warnings.
King: But I want to get back to a larger issue. On Sept. 4th, you said you ordered a corned beef on rye with mustard from the deli, and the receipt clearly shows a corned beef without mustard. How do you explain that discrepancy?
Clarke: I really want to get back to the larger issue and not get sidetracked by all these distractions.
King: But can you see how people have a problem with your credibility?

Seriously, this is not far from the actual conversation.
